About Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv was founded on the Mediterranean coast in 1909. It merged with the ancient port of Jaffa to its south to become Tel Aviv-Yafo.

The "White City", with its Bauhaus-style buildings from the 1930s, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The beaches along the shore and old Jaffa are its highlights.
