About Sivas
Sivas stands on the Kızılırmak in the east of Central Anatolia. The Sivas Congress of 1919 was a turning point of the War of Independence.
The Great Mosque and Hospital of Divriği is on the UNESCO World Heritage list for its stone carving. The city's Seljuk madrasas and the fish spa at Kangal are also well known.
