About Sinop
Sinop is a port city on a peninsula at Türkiye's northernmost tip. Founded in antiquity as a colony of Miletus, it is the birthplace of the philosopher Diogenes.
The historic Sinop Prison, the castle walls and the Hamsilos cove are its highlights.
