About Osmaniye
Osmaniye lies at the eastern end of Çukurova, at the foot of the Amanus Mountains. It is known for peanuts.
The Karatepe-Aslantaş Open-Air Museum, with its bilingual Phoenician and Luwian inscriptions, helped decipher Hittite hieroglyphs. The ruins of Hierapolis-Castabala are also worth seeing.
