Hakkâri

Hakkari, in Türkiye's far southeast near the Iraqi and Iranian borders, is a province ringed by high mountains. The Cilo and Sat ranges hold some of the country's most rugged peaks.

The deep valleys carved by the Zap River and its glacial lakes define the landscape. The area around the Zernek Dam and the Meydan Madrasa are among the places to see.
