About Çankırı
Çankırı is a province in the north of Central Anatolia, close to Ankara. The remains of a historic castle sit on the hill above the town.
One of its most unusual sights is the Çankırı Salt Cave, worked for centuries and open to visitors. Mount Ilgaz is popular for winter sports and hiking.
