About Brasília

Brasília is a planned city built from scratch as the capital in 1960. Its plan is by Lúcio Costa and most of its buildings by architect Oscar Niemeyer.

Its plan, which resembles an aeroplane from above, and its modernist architecture are on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
