About Batman
Batman lies in Southeastern Anatolia between the Tigris and the Batman stream. It was one of the first places in Türkiye where oil was extracted.
Some monuments of historic Hasankeyf on the Tigris were moved to a new site before the old town was flooded by a dam lake. The Malabadi Bridge is one of the largest single-arch stone bridges.
