About Ağrı
Ağrı gives its name to Mount Ararat (Ağrı Dağı), at 5,137 metres the highest mountain in Türkiye. The province lies on a high plateau near the Iranian border.
İshak Pasha Palace near Doğubayazıt, built in the Ottoman period, is one of the most striking palace complexes in Anatolia.
